Johanna Duan

I am the founder and current president of AYLUS Jericho, a PVSA-certified nonprofit focused on addressing food insecurity and promoting environmental awareness. Through leading this organization, I have accumulated extensive outreach and event-planning experience, completing over 260 service hours while partnering with regional and national organizations such as Island Harvest and Mutt-i-gree. My work has also earned me recognition as one of ten members of Island Harvest’s Student Leadership Council and as a Student Ambassador for Mutt-i-gree.

I’ve always wanted to start art related community service projects, and I still have many ideas I hope to start. Until now, I hadn’t found the right outlet to pursue these efforts. As a  YAC’s event planner and  with the support of YAC’s other passionate officers, I would love to help the organization expand to make even more meaningful and tangible impacts to our community.
